As part of the City and County of San Francisco's ongoing performance measurement and strategic planning, the Controller's Office recently updated its Goals, Strategies, and Measures. This user-friendly format was shared with the Controller's Office by the Greater London Authority, and has been adapted for our use. The document also serves as an example of how City departments can display their broader strategic vision and goals while aligning them with their specific performance measures. At the conclusion of the December 2006 hearings on the City's performance measures, the Board of Supervisors asked the Controller to make this performance plan available to other agencies.
