Project eMerge

People. Performance. Progress.

Project eMerge successfully completed our first User Evaluation Workshop series in January 2010. The User Evaluation Workshops are hands on sessions with selected super users of the system. They are designed to evaluate specific aspects of the new system in discrete units containing business processes. The goals of these workshops are to:

  • Test the efficacy of new business processes, coding and configuration
  • Test the integration of business processes and workflow
  • Begin to socialize the new processes and the interface of PeopleSoft
  • Gather feedback to improve the usability of the system

The User Evaluation Workshops (UEW) 1 and 2 were a huge success! Read more about UEW 1 and 2.

To submit a request to participate in a User Evaluation Workshop, email us at changeteam.emerge@sfgov.org and tell us what department you work for, what your position is and why you would like to participate.

What is Project eMerge?

Project eMerge will provide improved Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Payroll services to the active, retired, and future workforce of the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) through the implementation of Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.0 system. What's Happening in Phase 1?

We are working on development and configuration for Phase 1 implementation and things are taking shape. There are many improvements Project eMerge will bring to CCSF. We will share them as we have them. For an overview look at the Phase 1 functionality, check out PS HCM 9.0 Functionality.
