Project eMerge will replace many outmoded business applications that present potential risk of inoperability due to lack of vendor support or vulnerability under disaster conditions.
Failure of these systems at any time would result in significant disruption to the City's firing, recruitment, benefits administration, employee scheduling and payroll operations.
Improving Business Processes and Systems
The integration of our core business systems with PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 will provide centralized, reliable sources of HR, Benefits, and Payroll data and facilitate access to key information across CCSF entities.
The implementation of an integrated system will allow us to improve many paper-based and redundant business processes that generate errors.
Reducing Costs and Improving Efficiency
Using common tools and standardizing our business processes will reduce costs related to redundant and time-consuming processes, improve efficiency, and set the stage for us to make progress together.
