News

• For 2013, Employee Social Security Tax Rate Increases to 6.2%
  The rate of workers' payroll taxes, which fund Social Security, has been 4.2% for the past two years. As of Jan. 1, it's back to 6.2%, on the first $113,700 in wages. For More Information click on IRS
  
  
• On August 27, 2012, eMerge PeopleSoft launched and replaced many of the City's existing processes and systems with one online system. The first paycheck issued through eMerge PeopleSoft was distributed on September 11, 2012.

   
  Most employees will be unaffected by this change, the only change they will experience will be to the "look and feel" of their pay statements. Some employees' gross pay, deductions and taxes will be different in the new system. These are "acceptable differences" due primarily to the greater precision afforded by a modern payroll system.

User Tips for ePayroll

• The CCSF ePayroll Employee ID is your eMerge Employee ID, which is the DSW number on the back of your City ID badge. Your DSW number could be on your department ID (Rec/Park) or your department's self service page (Police & Fire)
• Your PIN is 8 to 16 numbers only
• If you have questions regarding your pay information, please contact your
